[00:00:03] Speaker A: How would you guys like to own a camera that captures and then restreams everything that happens to you? A cyborgian future is among us. Have you guys heard about this camera? It's called the Memoto, and it's a new lifelogging camera. And it condenses the power of a 5-megapixel camera with an extra-long battery onto a little clip-on device that you wear right here or here or wherever you want. And its creators suggest that the Memoto wearers will never again
[00:00:29] Speaker A: forget the small moments that make up their daily life because it's always recording everything that happens to you. Thoughts, 5 words or less.
[00:00:36] Speaker B: Longest sex tape ever.
[00:00:39] Speaker C: Where do I get one?
[00:00:41] Speaker D: Most lives are super boring.
[00:00:43] Speaker A: Just what the pervs need. Not good.
[00:00:47] Speaker D: Tell me about it.
[00:00:48] Speaker A: Tell me about it. Um, do you guys want one? I know you do, Courtney.
[00:00:52] Speaker B: No, hell no. That's so disturbing. Someone—
[00:00:55] Speaker C: oh, ugh, I don't really want one, guys.
[00:00:57] Speaker A: But wait, there's a problem.
[00:00:59] Speaker C: I don't know if I really want one. Then you have to own up to— well, I already own my farts, but like, that captures everything. You cannot deny anything that you do. Like, you're the one that clogged the toilet, everyone knows about it.
[00:01:10] Speaker A: Can you imagine getting in an argument with like your significant other? You know how sometimes you get in an argument and you forget what you say? Your significant other says, no, you said this, and then they use your little camera to prove you wrong? I would hate that.
[00:01:20] Speaker D: The most annoying thing for me is like, it's, it's on your neck and it's right here, so it will just have like this part of people.
[00:01:26] Speaker B: That's true.
[00:01:26] Speaker C: It's like a noob.
[00:01:27] Speaker D: It's just like the top side of the nipple.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: Guys walking down the street, like curves. It's great.
[00:01:33] Speaker D: That's what it's for.
[00:01:34] Speaker A: So then would you guys be nervous if you went to like a club or a bar, and these Memoto cameras are really popular, would you be nervous that anything and everything can be captured?
[00:01:43] Speaker B: For sure.
[00:01:44] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't want this.
[00:01:46] Speaker D: I just think it's going to be so— what do you need to record it for? It's like, oh, Wednesday I had a killer toothbrushing session.
[00:01:53] Speaker A: How is that not different from like some people's tweets or Facebook posts? Those same people are gonna just constantly watch their little Memoto camera footage.
[00:02:01] Speaker D: You know, they should send it to me, and then I— they should send it to me, and I will tell you how shitty your life is.
[00:02:05] Speaker A: That would be a great show, Brad.
[00:02:06] Speaker D: Like, I will just be like, send me your video.
[00:02:08] Speaker C: I feel like if you have one of these, your life is shitty.
[00:02:10] Speaker D: It's all right.
[00:02:12] Speaker A: If you're the person—
[00:02:12] Speaker D: that makes sense.
[00:02:13] Speaker B: I would get one, but I don't want anyone else to have one.
[00:02:16] Speaker A: That's not gonna happen.
[00:02:17] Speaker B: It's not gonna happen, but that's what I want.
[00:02:19] Speaker A: Why is that?
[00:02:20] Speaker B: Because say I have intel. And I need to blackmail somebody.
[00:02:25] Speaker A: What about on the flip side? It could be a really good crime-fighting tool. Can you imagine, you know, if you're wearing one of these and you get— and you're a victim of a crime?
[00:02:33] Speaker B: Say like police have them. Yeah.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: Or even if you're wearing one, CSI can just clip it off you and be like, let's see what really happened. That's so great. And then they watch it. And then they know.
[00:02:44] Speaker D: Here's the thing. If everyone's a spy, you have this, everyone's a spy, then no one's a spy.
[00:02:48] Speaker A: That would be amazing if you could spy.
[00:02:49] Speaker D: But no one's as nervous as you are.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: That's actually true.
[00:02:50] Speaker B: Everybody's desensitized to everything.
[00:02:52] Speaker A: Well, OK, so then if this Memoto camera becomes really popular, obviously there's going to be new designs. And maybe they'll even do one that's using nanotechnology, and they're really small, and they're like little buttons. Then what do you do? You don't even know if someone's wearing one.
[00:03:07] Speaker C: No, but like, yeah, what about when you go into a change room or bathroom?
[00:03:11] Speaker A: I'm telling you, perv central. Perv alerts.
[00:03:15] Speaker D: That's what Memoto's web address should be. Yeah, I'm so tired of like holding my camera that's like this big. I have to go up to girls' boobs and take the picture.
[00:03:23] Speaker C: Like putting your iPad under the, like, the stall is awkward.
[00:03:27] Speaker D: Even the iPad Mini is big.
[00:03:28] Speaker A: It is very awkward. Now you can use your Memoto though. Well, what do you guys think about this new camera? Would you guys want one?
