[00:00:00] Speaker A: when we visited their booth. All right, so I'm hanging out at the Narrative booth. Now, I gotta tell you, when Narrative first came out on the scene, I was like, I need that right away. But I don't wanna steal the thunder. I wanna introduce you to the creator and the founder and the CEO of this, Martin, right here from Narrative. How are you, Martin? Good to see you, man.

[00:00:16] Speaker B: Thank you. Yeah, good to see you.

[00:00:17] Speaker A: Why did you wanna create this? And we're gonna get to what this does, but I wanna know why you wanted to create it.

[00:00:21] Speaker B: Yeah, basically out of my own personal needs. I always wanted to document my life more, but then when I got kids and let That was the good thing that happened. The bad thing was that I lost both of my parents. And both of these events talked to me in saying, like, how much important— much more important life is than I thought it was.

[00:00:44] Speaker A: And you're right. So many times, you know, we pull out the camera at birthdays and graduations and life events and milestone moments, but it's really the everyday stuff.

[00:00:52] Speaker B: So it takes 2 pictures a minute. So on the Clip 1, the existing product, it's a 5-megapixel camera. With the Clip 2, we're upgrading that to an 8-megapixel camera and also with a wider-angle lens to Capture more of the scene in front of you.

[00:01:05] Speaker A: So you get a bigger scene, bigger view. And then how much space does this little guy hold for your images?

[00:01:10] Speaker B: Yeah, so that's tremendous to me, like 8 gigabytes of space on this little camera. On the Clip 1, there's, as you say, a micro USB to connect it, both for battery charging and for upload.

[00:01:21] Speaker A: How long will the battery last?

[00:01:22] Speaker B: How long does it charge up? So battery life is a huge part of wearability. To make a wearable device, what would that be? Would it be like 4 hours or 8 hours of battery life? We actually put 30 hours of battery life.

[00:01:33] Speaker A: Did you just say 30?

[00:01:33] Speaker B: Yeah, but with the Clip 2, Sure, you need to charge the battery, but you got the Wi-Fi chip, the Bluetooth chip in the Clip 2. This is from my Christmas, so I spent time with my friends, my family, and my siblings. You can really find beautiful moments where you capture the real person.

[00:01:51] Speaker A: This is what technology should be doing for us. Most of the time technology gets in the way, and what you've designed is something specifically to not get in the way, but still give us the advantages and benefits of having the technology. Home run, man!

[00:02:03] Speaker B: Yeah, thank you.

[00:02:04] Speaker A: Straight up. More to come on Inside CES with Mario Armstrong. I don't know about you guys, man, but I gotta tell you, every single year I come here, I get exhausted at the show, but I'm always looking for technology that helps us live a better life. That's what my passion is. That's what the Never Settle Club and everything is all about. So I found something that I really gave a test run, and it's called RestSmart. They call it a smart bed. Let's see what it's all about.

[00:02:28] Speaker B: Hi, Martin.
