[00:00:05] Speaker A: Hi, this is Chris Davis of SlashGear, and I'm here at CES 2015 at Narrative's booth, and they've just announced the Clip 2 wearable camera. Now, you might remember Narrative, they were a Kickstarter success a couple of years ago with the original Clip camera, and the idea with this version is the same. You clip it onto your coat or your collar or your lapel, and it takes a photo every 30 seconds, and then the cloud magic picks out which are the best pictures from the day. There's been a couple of upgrades with this new version. Instead of a 5-megapixel camera before, you now get an 8-megapixel camera. So, what's
[00:00:30] Speaker A: the difference? camera, and the lens is wider as well, so you fit more into each frame. There's a new clasp design on the back which removes, whereas the previous version was fixed, and this means that now you can fit on different types of mounts. And Narrative are hoping to come up with a varied range of mounts so you can attach it to a waterproof casing, for instance, or even to a pet. It's got Wi-Fi and Bluetooth inside it now, so you
[00:00:55] Speaker A: can remotely control it from your phone, and it also will now synchronize the photos with the cloud without you having to actually connect. To be honest with you, it's the quality of improvements that are likely to be the biggest change for existing Narrative owners. I wore the original Narrative Clip for quite a few months to review it, and whilst it was an interesting gimmick, sometimes the quality of the pictures wasn't great. This should have better low-light performance, and it should mean that you have a more chance of getting a usable picture.
