[00:00:25] Speaker A: This is a really cool product. We're with Oskar. He is the co-founder of Narrative. And basically, this is a camera you wear on you all the time. It's a little square, and then you're taking photos, and also you can do video as well?

[00:00:39] Speaker B: It's a still photo camera that you just clip on you like this, and it takes a photo automatically every 30 seconds. It's a wearable automatic camera, and all you have to do is just clip it on, and you can go about your day, and you will have photos from your day, from whatever you did. It's great. Like, conferences like this is a perfect way to use it to capture what it was like and remember faces. I'm personally crap at remembering faces, but this helps me to remember who I met and where and when. And

[00:01:05] Speaker B: just be in the moment as it happens and let the camera capture it for you.

[00:01:10] Speaker A: Tell me about the camera first. Let's start with that. What's the quality of the camera, the sensor? How does it do in lower light or in a lighting environment like this?

[00:01:18] Speaker B: So it's a 5-megapixel sensor. It's the same camera sensor as in the iPhone 4. So it— and there is no flash or anything, so it works best in better lighting, of course. But you can use it in basically any environment, and it's weatherproof. Yeah, you get what photos you get.

[00:01:41] Speaker A: How long does it last on a charge?

[00:01:43] Speaker B: 30 hours. 30 hours battery.

[00:01:44] Speaker A: How long?

[00:01:45] Speaker B: It's a 30-hour battery.

[00:01:46] Speaker A: 30-hour? That's what I thought you said. I'm surprised. You should find a way to make the batteries for the iPhone too.

[00:01:52] Speaker B: We can help them with that.

[00:01:55] Speaker A: And it's a wide angle?

[00:01:56] Speaker B: It's a 70-degree angle. So, like any standard camera, basically.

[00:02:01] Speaker A: Very nice. Alright, now let's talk about the real, the real true meaning of this, the great aspect of it, and that is the sharing ability. So now it's taking photos, I don't even know, I forget. At the end of the day, I've got all these photos. What do I do?

[00:02:14] Speaker B: So, by the end of the day, you offload the photos, you get them down in your app, in your Narrative app for iPhone or Android, and in that app, we have sorted out the best ones for you. So you don't have to wade through all these thousands of photos that you get from that day, but you only see the single best photo from each moment of that day.

[00:02:31] Speaker A: That's really awesome.

[00:02:33] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a super intelligent backend algorithm that does all that. It looks at all the photos and says, these photos belong together, these belong together, And this photo is the best photo from that moment. And then you can choose to share that photo, or if another photo is better to your taste, you can share that through Instagram or Twitter or Facebook and all that.

[00:02:50] Speaker A: And can you share them, like, can you share 10 of them at a time, or is it one at a time?

[00:02:54] Speaker B: You share one photo at a time.

[00:02:55] Speaker A: Okay. And can you share it from the app on your phone, or do you have to do desktop software?

[00:02:59] Speaker B: You share it from the app.

[00:03:01] Speaker A: Amazing. This is really amazing. How did you think of Narrative?

[00:03:06] Speaker B: So me and the other co-founders, we came from different directions, but we all had this life experience where we thought we wanted to have more photos from our life, basically. And also not having to disturb the moments we were in, like when we were playing with our kids or doing things that we love. We want to do those things and not think about taking out our phone to take photos. And having

[00:03:31] Speaker B: something automatically creating a diary for us seemed like a good thing. When you're too lazy to write that diary down yourself every evening.

[00:03:38] Speaker A: That's pretty awesome. I like that idea. I mean, my son Jack is 17 months old, you know, and, you know, he's constantly hugging me, playing, you know, we're playing, he's running towards me, and yeah, I'm constantly grabbing my phone. And just to be able to let the moment happen and not worry about it is amazing.

[00:03:54] Speaker B: Exactly. Yeah, I have a son myself, and it's the same thing there. He just grabs the phone for me. And also these moments that you don't really know is going to be important or worth remembering. Like, when you have a kid, that happens all the time, you know. Every day seems like just another day, but when you look back a few years later when your kid was that small, that seems like that perfect moment that you wish you had more photos from. You can't have too many photos from your life as a parent, basically.

[00:04:19] Speaker A: I love it. What about the future for the company? Where do you see the product and other products coming out, or where's the product going?

[00:04:26] Speaker B: So we are basically a hardware and a software company. We do both the camera, the Narrative Clip in itself, and the backend and the apps. So we want to improve all of that. We want to do the camera smarter and smaller. We want to do the backend, the image analysis smarter.

[00:04:42] Speaker A: It's harder to get smaller.

[00:04:44] Speaker B: Yeah, it might be, but yeah, there are things we can do there as well, I hope. And on the apps and the backend, make that more intelligent, more easy to find your best moments.

[00:04:51] Speaker A: Awesome. I love it. I think it's really great. I think everybody needs to check out Narrative. It's a lot of fun. Memory-wise, do you have to dump it every day?

[00:04:58] Speaker B: You can store about 6,000 photos on this one.

[00:05:01] Speaker A: Wow.

[00:05:02] Speaker B: So, yeah, you can use it for 2 days at least.
